Watermelon is a summer staple here at our house. I can’t go to the store with my boys without coming back with one. Contrary to popular belief that this delicious fruit is made of mostly water and sugar, watermelons are actually very nutrient dense. They are filled with vitamins and minerals, such as vitamin A, C, iron and calcium and are powerful antioxidants. Combine them with ginger, mint, cucumbers and lemons, this Watermelon Lemonade is as much of a powerful immune booster as it is hydrating and very refreshing! I highly recommend it as your drink of choice for a hot summer day!
